- Entrance examination: Most programmes require an online entrance examination or interview as part of the admissions process. Dates and formats are communicated individually after the application is received.

February Intake in Hungary: How It Works
A February (spring) intake is available at select institutions and programmes. It is not a full system-wide intake so the availability varies considerably by university and faculty.
- Programme availability: Medical programmes and many other full-degree programmes are not available in the February intake at most institutions. BME notes that not every degree programme is available for its spring intake.
