Italy Visa Requirements
Indian students must follow these mandatory steps:- Apply for admission on the selected Italian Higher Education Institution's official website before the application deadline.
- After receiving the admission letter, apply online for Pre-Enrolment through the Universitaly portal.
- Once pre-enrolment is completed, apply for a visa:
- Type D (Long-stay Visa) if the course duration is more than 90 days.
- Type C (Short-stay Visa) if the course duration is less than 90 days.
- As per Italian law, the processing time for long-term (Type D) visa applications can take up to 90 days from the date of application submission.
- If the Consulate requests additional documents, the processing time may exceed 90 days.
