Can an NRI be a co-applicant?

Yes, Credila accepts NRIs as co-applicants under the following conditions:

• Co-applicant must be an Indian citizen. OCI (Overseas Citizens of India) can be acceptable along with additional Indian citizen applicant
• Co-applicant needs to have a bank account (in any bank) within India with standing instruction facilities to provide monthly repayment electronically
• Co-applicant’s role would be, necessarily, like the primary borrower, i.e., the student.
