What are the courses or programmes for which the tax benefit can be availed?

The tax benefit is available for full-time courses for any graduation or post-graduation course in engineering, medicine, management, or post-graduate course in applied sciences or pure sciences, including mathematics and statistics. From April 01, 2009, the deduction is allowed for vocational courses as well.
